Un’idea semplice: separare la cucina dal soggiorno in un piccolo appartamento milanese.
Da questa esigenza nasce Terracielo1, una libreria su misura progettata e realizzata per essere montata direttamente in loco in modo facile e rapido, senza l’uso di fissaggi meccanici.
La produzione è stata realizzata in collaborazione con l’officina metalmeccanica di famiglia. Il progetto è stato sviluppato insieme a mio padre che, con grande maestria, ha contribuito a dare forma compiuta all’idea iniziale.
La libreria misura 1,94 metri in lunghezza e 2,70 metri in altezza.
La struttura è modulare e s-montabile, composta da quattro mensole in acciaio inox, dotate di asole per il passaggio dei tubolari. Questi, uniti tra loro da perni filettati, si avvitano in verticale terminando su flange che si fissano a pressione tra pavimento e soffitto. L’intero sistema si monta facilmente con l’ausilio di un semplice giravite.

A simple idea: separate the kitchen from the living area in a small Milanese apartment. From this need, Terracielo1 was born, a custom-designed bookshelf created to be assembled on-site quickly and easily, without the use of mechanical fasteners.
Production was carried out in collaboration with the family’s metalworking workshop. The project was developed together with my father, who, with great skill, helped bring the initial concept to full realization. The bookshelf measures 1.94 meters in length and 2.70 meters in height.
The structure is modular and dismountable, consisting of four stainless steel shelves with slots for the tubular connectors. These are joined by threaded pins and screwed vertically into place, ending on flanges that are pressure-fitted between floor and ceiling. The entire system can be easily assembled using just a simple screwdriver.
